Project Manager

What do we want? We want a Project Manager in the Boston area who has a passion for combining delivery efficiency and effectiveness with customer success. The Acquia Services team and our top partners are teaming up to help government bodies, academic institutions, and businesses, large and small, migrate to Drupal and execute on their social web strategies.
What will you do? With the rapid adoption of Drupal as a web platform, our Project Managers are a key to insuring the success of Acquia, our partners, and our customers. Engagements vary by customer and can range from brief assessments to large scale site migrations and deployments. We need a rock star who can manage delivery teams with both internal resources and Acquia Partners! You will manage project scope, budgets, and deliverables. The development of strong business relationships and client management skills are key to this role.

Essential Skills and Characteristics

• Experience managing projects with large enterprises
• Experience working with and managing delivery partners and subcontractors
• 3+ years experience managing large web deployment projects
• General familiarity with Drupal and open source web-development technologies
• Strong problem solving abilities, initiative, and the ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
• Ability to manage multiple project simultaneously
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
