I'm in the early stages of looking for a Shanghai-based Drupal developer. At this point, exact requirements and scope of work are not defined. However, some aspects of the work include :

  • Drupal 7 development with Fields API and Views

  • Potential for large-scale, 24x7 integration of data from continual calls to various web services

  • Potential for on-going support of such a service (ex. rolling data files, monitoring the service etc.)

I'm a Drupal developer and would like to do this work myself, but I simply don't have the time. I'm new to outsourcing, so would like to learn about accepted outsourcing practices. My wife is from the Shanghai area, so I have some background in this area.
