Wow, lumalaki tayo! We now have 15 new members. Welcome to all the new members!
It looks like it's time for another meet up, don't you think? Busy ba ang mga tao?
Btw: off topic and shameless plug. My wife and I just completed a podcast called MacSwitched. It's for those who just switched to Macs, are using Macs now, or are thinking of switching.
We'll be inserting Drupal news in our next podcast. If you have announcements that you want inserted, just drop us a note.
To listen to the podcast, visit: http://macswitched.blogspot.com. Post your announcements there too (via comments).
Thanks!

GSOC plans?
sir Reuben,
Any plans for GSOC? Im not sure if any PH student has signed up, I like to try the mentor program if there are PH students.
Re: GSoC
Hello there!
To join GSoC as a mentor, you need to join an open source project (like Drupal). You will not necessarily be mentoring Filipino students.
If you wish to really mentor a Filipino student, one way to do it is to find a student and encourage him/her to send a proposal for Drupal, for example. Then if they get accepted, you can mentor them (of course, you have to volunteer as mentor sa Drupal).

GSOC Drupal PH
Yes, I signed up at Soc-2008 group but I'd specifically like to mentor for PH Drupal users because it would be easy to manage (no timezone difference). The deadline for mentors is March 12th according to GSOC, is someone on the group signing up to be a student? -- the deadline is March 24 for students.
