Drupal Developer Team Needs More Hands (Intern or Volunteer) | AAPC
Do you feel there is something more to preventing gun violence than merely getting rid of guns?
Ever think that there is something missing to the current dialog on failing schools, and the 50 percent high school drop-out rate in Chicago and elsewhere?
Concerned about kids being raised psychologically-rudderless?
Ever wish there was a way you could do more to help create awareness for the big picture, and make Illinois a better place to raise kids?
A local group of Web Development students is looking for 1-2 recent grads to join an existing contingent of like-minded Web-heads concerning Non-profit volunteerism for a 13 week internship to assist in the development of an online campaign (Micro-site, Blog and Wiki) designed to help create awareness of key issues which impact parental involvement with at-risk children.
Our approach is flexible. We're currently building with Drupal (remotely and on our own schedules)--collaborating via phone and email during the week.
If you have a few hours to spare and are looking for a fun, collaborative team to join for something meaningful, benefits the public good, and talk about the latest developments in open-source CMS for non-profits, please let us know. Send text resume (no attachments, please) to us,
Attn: Jennifer Teschy, info (at) illinoisparentsandchildren (dot) org.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
