VozMob (http://vozmob.net), a mobile blog by day laborers and household workers in Los Angeles, seeks a skilled Drupal Developer to help us implement a new round of functionality.
You should be: based in Los Angeles; versatile and experienced with developing new modules; familiar with git & github (or willing to learn); interested in mobile, maps, and multilingual sites; willing to work in a participatory design team that includes end users, community organizers, students, and experienced developers. The ideal person for this team will also be bilingual English-Spanish and be committed to participatory design and social justice.
We are looking to contract you to work with our team to create new features that have been requested by the core group of mobile community correspondents for vozmob.net.

- Comments via SMS (http://dev.vozmob.net/issues/118)
- Implement # hash tag to add tags to sms/email posts (http://dev.vozmob.net/issues/27)
- User account merge
- Robust testing of MMS-to-phone
- Maps & GIS
- Drag and drop UI for slideshow editing

We are a small nonprofit project, always looking for volunteers, but we do have funds to contract the right person for a paid gig. We need someone who can start very soon.
If interested, contact me, Sasha Costanza-Chock, at schock AT riseup DOT net. Put the subject line: VozMob Drupal Developer.
thanks!
