North West UK

Drupal NWUK meets on the first Wednesday of the month and features expert help, discussions and demonstrations. Bring your Drupal questions and problems, as well as any projects you'd like to demo. We meet in MadLab, in the northern quarter of Manchester.
We usually have a mix of a quick talk followed by a questions and chat with the option of moving on to a pub for refreshment!
Keep an eye on this group and also http://www.drupal.org.uk for announcements.
The group has its own site at http://nwdrupal.org.uk/ and there is also a Google group (http://groups.google.com/group/nwdug) you can join.
There's often plenty of us to be found in #drupal-uk on irc.freenode.net. Jump in and say hi! We're a friendly bunch!

Viewing forum posts in Drupal 6

Hello,
Can anyone help me with a problem I have allowing a certain role to view forum posts.

A user with the correct role can create a forum post and view the node when it is saved. However, when they go into the forum to view the post it does not show!

Looking at the forum overview/activity page, you can see that there is a new post but when you follow the link there is nothing there!
The node definitely exists as I can see it and edit it, in the Content listing page.

    Commercial Drupal Support

    Hello,
I run a large(ish) Drupal site (Approx 11,000 nodes and 4000 users) and currently have a support contract with Acquia that is about to be renewed. It really pains me to say this but, I think their service could be better!

Given this, I have decided to look at what else is available in terms of support. Can anyone recommend (ideally from their own experience) commercial support? What else is out there?

Also, I would be keen to hear about anyone's thoughts, or experiences regarding Acquia.

    Many Thanks.

    Software For Estate Agents

OnlineWD™ has recently finalised it's Estate Agency Database Framework (EADF). Built entirely with Drupal and custom modules, to find out more about OnlineWD™ EADF browse to http://www.onlinewebsitedesign.net/web-based-software-for-estate-agents. This framework is extremely efficient when compared to other solutions and far less expensive, for example a property page acts also as a printable brochure and a window display is automatically created from property pages using rules.
