PHP for Drupal San Francisco, CA
This course is ideal for people who already know other programming languages, but are new to PHP. This course is also suitable for those who know PHP but want to understand how to “read code” used in Drupal. You may not be able to see the difference between what is a standard PHP function and what is a Drupal function. You may be able to hand code in another language from scratch, yet find yourself searching for examples to copy and paste to modify something in PHP. That is simply because you may not be using PHP everyday, and haven’t built up practice.

We are a small non-profit with an existing more or less out of the box Drupal 6 website. We need help in taking the site to the next developmental level. We have posted our initial ideas on the upgrades needed: http://placersustain.org/community/content/draft-suggestions-upgrade-pla.... We have tried several large Drupal consultants who apparently are not interested in working with an existing site. Would like help from peers, or perhaps a reasonable consultant who can work with us.
