Drupal PGH connects people who use Drupal in and around the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Users of all skill levels and interests are welcome and encouraged, including site builders, developers, themers, project managers, site owners, content editors, and those of us brand new to the Drupal CMS.
Getting Started
There's no pre-requisite for attending meetups or posting on the group's site. To post questions, events, job listings, and comments you need to sign up for a free user account. To attend a meetup, just stop by.
Monthly Meetup
Come out from behind that keyboard and meet your peers at our monthly Drupal PGH meetup. Meetups are held on the second Tuesday of each month, from 7 to 9 pm, and generally feature an in depth presentation, case studies of sites our members have built, open discussion, and of course some social time to chat and compare notes. Anyone can present; if you have an idea for a topic post a new discussion and tell us about it. Check out the events listing for details on our next meetup. Hope to see you there!
Other ways to connect
We're also on IRC at #drupal-pgh and Twitter at @drupalpgh. Follow us there or subscribe to the group's RSS to stay in the loop.
Ticket to DrupalCon for Sale at Earky Bird Price
I bought my ticket months ago and have been eagerly awaiting my third DrupalCon. Then I broke my foot a week ago and need surgery. So, I have a ticket available and all I want is what I paid for it - $400. You can get tickets for two more days for $550 and then $600 on site. This is a great bargain! I even have a hotel room booked across the street. So buy my ticket and I'll transfer the hotel reservation to your name too! Send me a message at e.delgado@pghtechministries.org.

Read moreViews slideshow mistery
I'm setting up a d7 site and I have a slideshow view with a block display.
When I'm previewing the block in the view edit page, everything works fine and the images/text rotates.
When I insert the block on the front page, the slideshow does not work. All the html elements are loaded and present in the page. It seems that jQueryCycle does not fire and/or does not find the div container where all the slides divs are contained.
If anybody has any idea how to troubleshoot the issues, any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
also, if I need to post more info, just let me know
Thanks
Max

Read moreAutomated intervention process
Hello yins,
I need to create an automated process for user groups in a D7 site for a med practice improvement intervention. Using OG, practices will create a private group. I need each practice to complete a series of tasks during the intervention. I need to collect data about each task like date started/completed, users, etc. All tasks are timed from the enrollment date. I have some ideas, but wanted to get some thoughts. Would you care to discuss?
Vendor purchase orders in Drupal 6 or 7
I posted this on the main discussion boards and have not gotten a response. Thought I would run by my homies?
Does anyone know of a way to create purchase orders for vendors using Drupal and Ubercart ? I'm not talking about using purchase orders for a purchase online, but a purchase order for your vendor if your company uses drop shipping.

http://www.drupalcampnj.org/ is a Drupal Camp held at an educational institution. In my mind, there had better be a lot of Drupal in education fans there! Planting this flag in the ground to let others know I'm going but mostly to provide an initial discussion thread as to what topics people would like to cover in BoFs at the event.

Thanks to our friends at Imagebox for agreeing to host our January meetup!
Topic: Drupal and Responsive Design
This month we'll be trying something a little different. In lieu of a formal presentation, we're going to try a roundtable discussion where group members can share knowledge and ask questions. The topic: building Responsive websites with Drupal -- strategies for implementation, helpful or can't -do-without modules, approaches that have worked or not worked -- bring your experiences to share.
