DICOM image support?
I'm wondering if anyone in the Drupal community has been pioneering support for the DICOM (medical) image format. From some preliminary googling, there seems to be a PHP Imagemagick library that can do conversions, etc. (http://www.nanodicom.org/documentation/faq)
I'm working on a program that needs to store/process these images for display in a web browser, as part of a web app geared towards facilitating Ultrasound reporting. Any help or info in this avenue would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Y'all.
Come out to the Way Out West meetup tomorrow night. We will be meeting at the Forest Grove Library (in the Rogers Room) at 6:30.
This is a beginner meetup and the subject will be Theming, specifically sub-theming why and how. This is not the same as the meetup on Thursday this is just the basics. So if you are new to Drupal or have an interest in making your own theme, this would be a good place to start.
For you that already know how to make your own theme and are aspiring themers, don't miss the meetup on the East Side tomorrow night.
Does CRM (the technology) need to be defined?
We no longer bother to explain the acronyms TV, DVD, RAM, and more...

My company - Forward Support - is looking to build its capacity when it comes to Drupal development. We have some larger projects we are currently in the process of bidding for, and if we get them we'll need to hire on some contractors for those projects. Until now it's primarily been me doing all the work.
As such, we're looking for resumes from people who can do either/both front-end and back-end Drupal working, including:
Themes & subthemes
Module creation
Views & Panels
Graphic design (creating themes in Photoshop/Illustrator from scratch based on branding information)

Drupal 7 Search - Fails to Index
When I go to index the site (something that should theoretically be running during cron), it fails to index at all. Strangely, there is no error message given for a failed cron. I have installed "Disable Messaging", but logged in as the user/1 or even with the module deactivated it fails to report an error.
My thoughts:
- I installed a certain module that is blocking the search function
- There is suddenly an issue in the MySQL database
- Humans should be allowed to search in Drupal
Thoughts?
Lightning talks for next front-end meetup
Last meetup we decided to focus our next meeting on jQuery/JavaScript, specifically short talks and tutorials.
Some possible questions to answer: What are the best ways to integrate JS into Drupal? Do you have any tools, libraries, or plugins you especially like? Have you run into any particular pitfalls to watch out for? Tips or tricks?
I'd love to see a variety of levels represented, from beginner to advanced, so if you have anything you'd like to share, "sign up" in the comments!
