Rochester, NY
Welcome to the (up-and-coming) Users and Developers group for Western/Upstate New York, centered in Rochester, NY. The Buffalo or Syracuse dweller, and anyone else so-inclined or so-located is warmly welcomed. This group is only just forming, but its purpose is to gather local users together for support, networking, and education.
I would very much like to see occasional meetups/workshops (DrupalCamps?) occur from time to time, but that's something to discuss once we get some interested people together. If you are interested in participating, please subscribe and tell us about yourself. Also, PLEASE tell all of the other local Drupal people that you know.
Which of the these days/times of the week would you be most likely to attend a meetup in downtown Rochester, NY (this summer)?

Western NY or Rochester NY?
A question was recently posted in the Introductions thread about why this group is called Rochester, NY but refers to itself as being a group for Western NY. Why not call it the WNY Group?
Since I chose to make this distinction in the name, I'll explain my reasons.

What would you most like to do first?
What would you like to see happen for a 'first' step? Some additional postings/discussions here on the group? A live chat of some kind? An actual in-person meeting? If so, would it just be to get to know each other or perhaps some kind of show-and-tell? What do you think we should do?
And who might you be?
It would be great if everyone who signed up for this group would briefly introduce yourself here (who are you, where are you from, what do you do for a living, what's your background, etc) and share at least a little bit of what you do with Drupal (or hope to do with it).
I'll start:
