theme

Anyone interested in collaborating on Zen like flex theme, specifically someone who can code the AS3 DTO's? The idea being to model the project after the features and functionality currently available in the Zen theme, but built in flex.

Its my feeling that if we had one good starter theme for flex it would allow designers and themers to more easily get started creating more advanced flex themes.

I'm also wondering if there might be some overlap or lessons we can learn from the patterns.module. http://drupal.org/project/patterns

Looking for a drupal themer/developer to help with a project with tight time lines. Go Live date June 1st but must have lead time for testing and tweaking.

Generally this should be an simple project for a seasoned professional. Would like a rough quote and suggestions/ideas.

Requirements:
*2 Sites with unique URLs same layout and theme just different images (possible multi site?)
*Create simple theme with drop down navigation, theme based on sliced and prepared images that will be provided - (mock ups available contact to view)

Have themes that could generate images for links so that navigation doesn't have to be plain text, or be able to generate an image for the title of a site or page so its easy to change the title of the site and still have it look fancy.

This could also include being able to customize the image such as by:

• adding an icon - this could apply to a specific navigation item
• setting the text color or font - this could apply to a specific item or be applied to all relevant items such as all page titles or all navigation links

Visual Structure, Inc. is looking for a contract / freelancer - Drupal Developer and Themer to join our team and help finish one of our high profile projects. This client is a very large Media agency in NYC and this project once completed will be very prominent in that industry so we need someone with a great grasp of drupal.

We are a small and upcoming Mutimedia/Multi-discipline shop, with project ranging from websites to films. We are currently seeking additional help on one of our bigger CMS/Drupal projects.

Contract job to apply an new, finished design (eg, Photoshop files, style specs) to a Drupal 5 theme for a new skin for the rSmart website:

We will supply complete Photoshop files and style specs of finished site design developed modularly with Drupal in mind, as well as Drupal 5 instance already configured with modules/content/navigation.

Emphasis on phptemplate/CSS solutions, Drupal without hacks, usability, standards compliance, eventual Drupal 6 migration.

Scheduled delivery before 4/1/2008. Portland, OR area preference, but not required.

I have started a stylesheet for the Zen STARTERKIT which converts the theme to "light text on dark background."

I am considering presenting on themeing Drupal using the Zen theme for either the April or May meeting.

Here is what I would like to do:

• Explain what Zen is
• How to create and use subthemes
• Creating regions

Hello, I'm just posting here to let everyone know that the bulk of the new theming handbook is up. Most of it has been rewritten and reorganized. I hope it is accurate and clear enough to get everyone familiar with the theming system.

It's still missing sections on sub-theming (which can get really fancy BTW). I hope to get a few solid explanations and illustrations on the possibilities. Engineless themes and theme engine sections are not there yet but I don't think it's too critical.

JavaScripting could use some help too. I hope someone can fill that in.

It has two variants at this point, and once i feel it's pretty solid, will add more and contribute it.

After a month and a half beta period with only 5 bugs discovered (and squashed), the O-fficial Zen 5.x-1.0 version has been released. Yay!

For those of you who haven't looked at Zen since its 5.x-0.6 days, take it for a spin. No longer do you need to un-theme the Deliciously Blue style out of Zen before adding your own styles. It’s a true base theme.
