Adding an external blog feed alongside native Drupal blogs?
Hi everyone,
I've been banging my head a little bit trying to get this sorted. Basically, I want members of my drupal site to have their own personal blogs and a section where they can read other members posts. This is obviously no problem if they're all using drupal blogs on my site.
However, many of the members already have their own blogs. It would be great if instead of submitting blog entries on my site, they could just add the url of their Blog feed and entries would automagically appear alongside other members entries.
$3K: Small Drupal Project for NonProfit -- Fast Turnaround | Coeurmechante
I have a small project which should be an easy one for a seasoned Drupal developer. Need a small site built and possibly themed (I can deliver crisp clean markup and stylesheet, or the PSDs if you'd rather work from scratch). The design is simple and the functionality has been designed around Drupal to keep it simple and meet an aggressive timeline.
Content types include articles, blog posts with user comment, and Youtube embedded videos. Minimal workflow (authors can publish directly, no editing or staging needed).
Great tool for letting children blog!
I've just installed Drupal in a XO laptop and I'm amazed with how fast it runs!! I'm really glad and I'm seriously thinking this could be a great tool for blogging from the XO laptops.
The first challenges I find:
- Creating an installer to put it easily in the XOs.
- Developing a plugin for publishing local content. I mean, Drupal will be installed in all XO laptops, where children will be able to write their own posts. Then, it would be good to publish these posts in a centralized Drupal. Isn't there a module already developed for this?

Pablo
Pluralism Template Ported to Drupal 6 Theme
After walkah's presentation on Drupal 6 Themeing, I ported and contributed a theme to drupal.org. Some really great information that inspired me to contribute a new theme. I did a relatively detailed write up in the showcase forums.
Thanks James, for the great presentation and answering the question we all had.
Index aliases with the Pathauto module
Hi,
I'm using the Pathauto module to define the path of nodes.
From a SEO point of view, would you recommend the use of hierarchical alias?
As an example consider the pattern for the posts of my site www.clipperz.com.
users/[user]/blog/
Every time I publish a new post

several index aliases are generated

Developer / Programmer | HuffingtonPost
HuffingtonPost is looking for some great drupal developers. We have various positions open, one is for a full time developer here in our NYC Soho office. We have a couple projects that would be better suited for contract work and we're willing to look at companies as well as individuals.
Experience working in Perl and MovableType a big plus for one project, so if you know anyone with that background please send them this way.
Its an exciting time of serious growth for HuffingtonPost and this is a really interesting opportunity for the right people.
New Drupal Site
I was recently involved in creating a blog for Pastor Paul Chappell. I hope you'll check it out.
I'd sure appreciate any feedback.
