Requirements/Qualifications

• 3-5 years development experience
• Experience with Drupal (5.0/6.0 theming & modules), PHP, MySQL
• Drupal experience with Organic Groups, Open Atrium & Services a plus
• Experience with shell environments (bash,tcsh etc) and UNIX/Linux administration
• An exceptional understanding of object oriented programming and relational data modeling
• Experience with HTML, CSS table-less design and Javascript
• Knowledge of and experience with source/version control systems (SVN)

Responsibilities

We are a small creative group of website designers and programmers who are developing our first project in Drupal. It's a cool project and ambitious for us. Our application is a front-end Flash function, ActionScript 3, with multiple users. We are using Drupal 6, and the lastest version of Services module with AMFPHP.

TITLE: Web Developer (LAMP/Drupal)
COMPENSATION: Fair market price.
TERM: Part-time, flexible schedule, potential for full time, work at home.

DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a self-motivated, reliable, responsible web developer who takes their work seriously, is obsessed with clean, well-commented, rock solid code, and who has an excellent work ethic. Should have superior skills in a Linux environment, an astonishing ability to be present online seemingly at all times (at least during business hours), willingness to respond quickly, and a proactive attitude. Another major client of our is growing. There are at least 2 full time positions open for a very solid PHP programmer with Drupal experience. Their clients include Sears, Vitamin Water, Six Flags and Chase. The projects that are in the pipeline include building online games, connecting entertainment artists directly with the fan base, and building various Facebook applications. You;ll be working with an extremely talented team of PHP developer in New York City. Unfortunately, no remote work will be permitted for now, so you must be local to New York City.

Seeking an experienced Drupal Developer to build out the website www.advancedparathyroid.com. The New York Center for Advanced Surgery of the Parathyroid focuses on minimally invasive surgery of the parathyroid. Much of the content has been developed, but we will need someone to help with:
1) Layout and theme.
2) Search engine optimization
3) Multi-language support
4) Forum and social media organization of site.

This publishing giant has 6 sites running Drupal now and are looking to launch 4 more in the next 3 months. This will be working with one other person in the downtown Manhattan office. This is building and delivering a contest micro-site for an internal client. Everything is build on Drupal 6. Launch date is schedule for Mid October with more work to follow down the road.

This is a one month contract to start.
