Javascript
All you Javascript crazed developers out there, this is the group for you.
Drupal is in need of some usability improvements and after a few meetings and a lot of discussion, it is now time to take advantage of our new JQuery library in Drupal.
Videocasters
This group is for learning, teaching, and coordinating videocasts about Drupal. Videocasts are one of the most effective ways to engage and teach users or potential users of Drupal and are pretty easy to make. Join this group to learn how and pitch in.
Issue tracking and software releases
This group is a place for developers who are interested in how Drupal manages issue tracking, software releases, integration with CVS and other revision control systems, and related areas of functionality. Currently, the project module and casetracker module are the main modules in this space.
Event Management Systems
Welcome to the Drupal events working group. This group is for discussion of modules and code related to events, calenders, timezones, and related issues. This is NOT a group for posting about (real or virtual) meetups and similar "events".
Folks interested in this group may also be interested in the Conference Organizing Distribution group, an installation profile for conferences built in Drupal.
Relationships & site structuring
The focus of this group is very broad in one sense (relationships between nodes, and between other elements, in Drupal), and yet it is very specific in another sense (metadata, tagging, hierarchical structuring, etc). This group exists to discuss the future (and the current state) of these things in Drupal.
High performance
This group is dedicated to solutions and approaches for high traffic, high performing Drupal sites. As such, it will deal with a lot of information around the rest of a typical Drupal "stack" -- the operating system, web server, database, and PHP tweaks that combine to support the Drupal application.
This is not a support channel or a place to post bug reports.
If you think you have found a bug, use the issue queue for the appropriate project.
If you need support, see http://drupal.org/support for options.
This group will discuss and devlop email solutions within Drupal. There are lots of modules that contain duplicate mailing efforts, and various modules that deal with small pieces of the overall mail puzzle. The goal of this group is to investigate existing and new modules that unify these efforts and form end-to-end solutions.

Voting Systems
This group is a place for developers of Drupal-based voting, rating, and recommendation systems to compare notes and develop strategies for future enhanncements. Its emphasis is on modules built around the VotingAPI module, but the group isn't exclusive to that framework.
Pre-release announcements and brainstorming for future VotingAPI developement WILL take place here, though, so if you're interested in working with that module, this is the place to be.
Translations
You intend to help to translate the Drupal interface to a language? This is the place! Look into the translator's guide in the Drupal Handbook for detailed documentation, as well as get onto the translations mailing list.
The internationalization group might also be interesting, dealing with content translation support issues in and around Drupal.
Theme development
This is a special interest group dedicated to improving and expanding the Drupal theme system including theme functions and templates, CSS, markup, and how contrib modules add in their functions, CSS, and markup.
for example, we'll take stock of the location and number of CSS files and discuss if the architecture can be improved through emerging frameworks like Object Oriented CSS.
We will consider the questions "What do themers need from Core in terms of CSS? Module developers? SEO specialists?" and "What's new in CSS? What does Drupal support? What's the roadmap for CSS support?"
