Lead Drupal and Magento developer needed for large scale eCommerce project. This is a very large scale project for a Global 2000 company and will be a blast. Project runs for 6-7 months with possibility of full-time employment.
This position in located in Los Angeles and will require the person to be in the office 4 days a week. Possible telecommute for 1-2 days a week possible once project is kicked off.
How manage Magento orders from Drupal ?
Big problem we're facing right now is that Magento have no core API for managing orders. Is it not possible also to set up any SSO solution to avoid Drupal / Magento double login. Any ideas or suggestions ?
We're actually planning to write some modules for Magento, but if you have quicker solution, ... :)

Ubercart Alternative
For our last meet-up that we were organizing I put an item on there to discuss a shopping cart alternative for Ubercart. Since then they released their first stable version of the software. It's called Magento, and it is an open source project similar to Drupal (obviously not as big as Drupal yet, though). This came up on my news feed today:
