I searched the documentation - without success. But it doesn't seem like an uncommon problem.
I jumped in and tried installing D7. New domain name, new hosting package. Uploaded and extracted D7. Contacted hostgator and couldn't solve this. Below is the error:
PHP extensions Disabled
Drupal requires you to enable the PHP extensions in the following list (see the system requirements page for more information):

A coworker is developing Drupal code on a Mac using BBEdit. We'd like to get his project onto our git server. What do Mac users recommend for git on Mac with BBEdit?
Hi all I posted this issue in the webform area , i was wonderin if anyone in LA Drupal has come across this issue - thanks again for everyones help!
I am trying to theme a webform -
I am using the webform module to creating a form and then creating a node variant in panels for webforms -
The node for the web form is 5 so I created a template file called webform-form-5.tpl.php this file was created from the templates folder in the module and then I added the file to the /sites/all/themes/mythemefolder
I used the theme devel module and it is not recognizing the file changeRead more
Being a relative Noob, I'm very interested in Drupal best practices. Attending DDCLA was about the best thing for me.
One thing that kept happening was hearing the presenter saying "There's a module for that!" OK, but I didn't write them all down, and there were so many across the sessions I know I missed most of them. What might seem obvious to some are not so for newbies like myself.
Maybe someone's got a nice list of the modules mentioned during DDCLA? Where? Maybe post here?
I have a question about how to create a content type that adds a cck field that allows this type of functionality:
The image always stays the same. It is a weekly specials pdf link that changes weekly by the user.
the image would stay the same always.
I want them to be able to change the pdf every week just by adding a new pdf, essentially just changing the link as needed
I'm at lost here, my nice menu flyout is hidden behind my content as seen in www.uclacommons.com/home-revised. This error shows up in IE 6 & 7.
This suggestion didn't work (.colmask & layout.css): http://coolwebdeveloper.com/2009/03/top-navigation-horizontal-menu-appea....
And, played with changing the z-index values.
I have a community portal where users have the ability to register w/o approval. I implemented Mollom almost a year ago and that has eliminated most of the comment / content spam. However - I've recently noticed an increase in account creation where spammers are filling their user profiles (additional profile fields for my users like bio / website / etc) with their spam links. I actually noticed this with some bizarre twitter spam that was linking to a user profile on my site... Not good - I want to get rid of this garbage.Read more
Hi LA Drupalers,
I am posting a question and I'm hoping to get some help with Panels/Advanced Profile kit.
Here's the situation. I have a panel using advanced profile kit (really just a panel that was created by APK and I tinkered with it) with one variant.
The current URL for all profiles using that panel is /profile/user/%name
I would like to change the url to /profile/user/ city from cck field / state from cck field /%name
How would I do that? If that is even possible.
I have a feeling it has something to do with adding arguements.Read more
Since this is my first LA Drupal discussion, please forgive me if this is the wrong place for such post...
I have been working on a social media share bar for a blog I am working on.
Facebook and Twitter buttons open a post to window.
Comments button shows number of comments and will jump to anchor tag on the node.
Email button opens email program with a link and generic message.
I used views with row style set to node to display all posts as a home page with comments on the individual node only.Read more
Are there any modules that add voting widgets to new comment forms in Drupal 6? Everything I've seen (including the Rate module) adds widgets to published comments.
Fivestar and Rate can prevent users from voting on their own content but my use case is the opposite: people can vote on their own comments but not on the comments posted by others.
