meet-up

Welcome to the Western Colorado Drupal group!

We're hoping to get together for an initial meet-up with Drupal folks from those in Colorado who are west of the divide. Our current suggestions would be to meet at the Pourhouse in Carbondale for a more social gathering, meet and greet if you will with short presentations by attendees.

The agenda will be similar to this:

First 15 min to half hour: introductions
Who are you?
What brings you here?
What do you do?
How do you use Drupal?
What are your websites, what companies do you work for?

Hi all,

Just wanted to mention that I started a Drupal Meetup group at http://www.meetup.com/drupaldelphia/. This is not intended to replace or compete with this site, but as a tool to reach a wider audience, as lots of folks are on meet up that are not on Drupal Groups.

I am interested in helping to organize monthly Drupal meetups -- what's the latest on the one for September?

The audio should be loud enough to pick up what's going on though. This was the group's first time trying to record the meet-up and post it up for everyone to see so we're learning!

After getting a chance to talk Drupal and WebDev with some folks earlier this week I really want to see if we can keep this ball rolling. I like staying local (not that there is anything wrong with Berkeley, their DUG is pretty cool!), but as Mark was pontificating... it's nice to see what we've got going in this side of the hill.

So shout it out! Speak Up! Use that little comment link that we are all so familiar with.

Is Danville out of the way?
Would Dublin or P-town be better?
Wednesday good/bad?
Afternoon better/worse?

Now there is a Welsh Drupal group should we organise a meet up?

At the initial meet-up at Dagaz yesterday evening, 50% of the entire Tri-Valley Drupalers group attended. ;) Thanks for the cookies, Doug!

At the last meet up, there was mention of a Drupal lab on April 30th at Affinity Labs in Adams Morgan. I rearranged my schedule just so I could attend.

Is this still happening?

If so, can someone who knows the arrangement post an event with the info sooner than later?

I would hate for folks to miss out due to a late posting.
