I was curious if anyone from NC / SC / East coast was interested or heading out to Drupal Camp Austin? It's only $40 to attend 2 days next weekend, but the trip is about 19 hours for us.

Would anyone be interested in saving some money and car pooling down and back? I would love to go but don't have a reliable vehicle to make the trip. I live in Asheville, NC.

DrupalCamp Austin 2009 will be held November 14-15, 2009, at the Norris Conference Centers in Austin, Texas. Admission is limited, so register today!

On Tuesday, February 10th at 7:00 p.m., Refresh Austin is having a meeting and on the agenda is a presentation on jQuery. Since jQuery is the Javascript library included with Drupal, I thought some people here might be interested. More details about the meeting are available on the Refresh Austin web site.

Our company is looking for a variety of positions, but we have an immediate need for a technical project manager. This job will entail a lot of Drupal work, as well as working with other applications (largely CRM). We work primarily with non profit clients developing and deploying websites, CRM systems, site production and maintenance, and much more. So. I'm just throwing this out there. Looking at the members on the Austin Drupal Users Group, both here and on LinkedIN, it is very apparent that we have quite the Drupal community. Just a simple glance shows that we have a wide range of experiences and skill levels. I think this could prove valuable to all of us, both technically, and as a means of networking. It's been a while since we have had a meet up, and I simply want to query the amount of interest there is in having another one. Perhaps then we can facilitate a more active A-DUG.

I was curious if there is anything going on Drupal-wise around the first week or so of August. I'm in Las Vegas but have a ton of friends in the Austin area and I'll be coming through there like August 6-8th-ish.. was wondering if there might be a meet-up in the works or something.
