Contract programmer/developer leading to fulltime | ContentRealtime, LLC
We have a beta website that needs an integration to Ingram eBooks (yes, the same Ingram you know and love...this is their downloable eBook content division, an outfit called LSI = Lightning Source Inc.)
Ingram assigned someone on their side and we need to assign someone on our side to integrate their content into our website.
Dallas Area October Meetup
Details on October Meetup...
October Meetup should be good...Dustin has volunteered to show us some of the things he has done on his sites in integrating Drupal and Flash on his sites - very cool!
If you haven't already, reminder to join our site, DrupalJedi.com, and upload your picture, connect with others in the group, etc. Again, if you want to add some modules or something to the site, let me know and I can make you an administrator.
Next Meetup is Tuesday, Sept 18th in Frisco
Our next meetup is Sept 18th in Frisco. Visit our meetup page for details...
We'll keep using meetup.com until we have our group site up and running. You've heard of group blogs, group podcasts, wikis, and collaboration. We are trying an experiment...to see if we can have a group drupal site! Please consider helping build out DrupalJedi.com. Contact me if you are interested in helping.

Developer/Information Architect | Advanced Automation, Inc.
Hey, everybody! My name is Adam McKinley, and I work for Advanced Automation, Inc. We're a company, located in Lindale, TX, looking for some bright Drupal developers (preferably in the nearby area) who would be able to help us polish-up and finalize some of our current projects.
Codeathon 2.0 in Austin, TX -- Build open source web apps for non-profits!
April 14 and 21-22, two non-profits, The League of Technical Voters and Knowbility.org, will host Designathon/Codeathon 2.0 in Austin, Texas. This is the second in a series of volunteer events based to help build usable, accessible open source web tools for non-profits. Development will not be restricted to any particular platform or language, but the previous codeathon was based entirely on Drupal and we are hoping to have a strong Drupal contingent at this one as well.

Austin Drupal Meetup - Jan. 10th at Gingerman
Nick Lewis and I were talking in #drupal and came to an agreement that we should revive the Austin Drupal meetup idea. We'll be meeting on Wednesday, January 10th at 7pm at Gingerman (downtown on 4th street). They have free wireless internet so bring your laptop if you like.
Hopefully by that time there might even be a Drupal 5.0 release! Also I believe there is another League of Technical Voters Codeathon planned for February 3rd (only 24 hours this time).
Drupal Training in Texas
I am in College Station, TX and am looking for low-level* Drupal training.
Is there anything nearby?
Would anyone care to share his/her experiences with any professional training he's received?
*or high-level, depending on what your use of the term. I'm referring to more than just installation-- advanced theming and api are a must.
Where should the 1st Meetup take place for Drupal users of Austin and Central Texas?
NOTE: Please take the poll to determine when in late July 2006 we should have our first Austin DUG.
It would be great if we could get at least 5 Central Texas Drupal users together in Austin for our 1st meeting!
What is a DUG? Drupal User Group! And it can be whatever we make it. Come out for some beers, coffee, tea, or food (depending on where we decide to meet) and let's talk about Drupal, co-coding, the marketplace, show off modules and websites, etc. I'm figuring that after work hours probably works best. For this first meeting of the Austin DUG, we can keep it informal and set an agenda a few days in advance here on groups.drupal.org.
