Working provision to integrate with plesk(or generically any web hosting control panel with some api)
i dont want to reopen this issue of aegir installed alongside web hosting control panels but i have some potential work lined up with a clients migration to new servers and from another cms to drupal for running there cms hosting service.
as a touch of background they have got a shell script that works with plesk api's to be able to create plesk accounts with home directories which get symlinks in the drupal code base sites directory - eg /drupal/sites/domaina.com is actually a symlink to /sites/domaina.com which is the plesk accounts home folder in normal circumstances
Drupal + CiviCRM for educational site
Hi all,
I am developing a site (currently in dev at http://new.pittsburghprep.com) for a test prep company. They provide classes on the SAT and other tests, in addition to private tutoring. First, for end users:
1) Course sign-up and pay
2) Tutoring package sign up and pay
3) Textbook/course material purchase
4) Participation in group discussions and intra-group messaging
5) Take e-courses
And for site admins:
Integrating SAP Business One to Drupal and Ubercart
The Orchestra Team is busy integrating the best CMS in the world to the best small business software in the world. Ok, ok, that's a little grandiose.
Here's what we do:
SAP Business One is a business management system designed for small and mid-size companies. Check it out here: http://www.orchestrateam.com/content/why-sap-business-one
SAP Business One handles all facets of the business, including Financials, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Reporting. This is the platform for our integration, as everything ties into SAP Business One.
Contract Senior Developer | Hall Investments
Hi, I am looking for an experienced developer to help us with integrating Drupaligg into an existing site. Here are some details:
-
Site promotes product reviews and deals, and the Drupaligg component will handle the deals and community/voting component.
-
Drupaligg features will allow registered users to submit deals (incl. link, image, etc.)
-
Existing site is built on LAMP platform
-
Site has a very basic CMS to handle (mostly) unrelated functions
-
Drupaligg data needs to work with current MySQL database for deals (we already have deals in the DB)
Rules Module with LDAP Integration Module
My Scenario: I have a triggered rule set up with an Event type of "User account has been created." The trigger has a condition of "User has Role." The argument is a "registered user", and the role is a "teacher."
I also have ldap setup to allow the teachers to login.
My problem: when a teacher first logs in (for instance), they are in the correct group according to LDAP, but the "User has Role" inside of the rules module doesn't recognize this, therefore the trigger/action never happens.
Usefulness of an integration of Mediabird Study Notes into Drupal?
Hello everyone,
I am the co-founder of the Mediabird Study Notes software, which is an extension to existing LMS.
Mediabird is a collaborative online notepad that allows small study groups to collaboratively work on shared notes at any time. It is not only possible to extend notes or edit them at the same time but in particular Mediabird allows users to annotate notes and ask questions about them. With that respect, Mediabird combines the ideas of a wiki and of a forum but is not as public as a wiki and relates questions to the notes rather than separating them as done in a forum.
Synchronous edition in Drupal with google-mobwrite
Overview: Let users to edit a node at the same time.
Description: I proposed that last GSoC(Refactor Collaborative Editor), using one of VCS, Comet or AJAX. But now, like chyatt comment, there is google-mobwrite. And now it seems really a better idea(awesome? :p).

Integrating Drupal and iMIS: ALAconnect Case Study
Over the last year, some Drupal users have expressed interest in integrating Drupal with iMIS, a membership and financial management system used by non-profits, membership organizations, and educational institutions. We have successfully implemented a custom solution for an ongoing project that links Drupal to iMIS. The solution includes a custom module for integrating Drupal & iMIS. We plan to release this module to the Drupal community once we have completed testing, made the module more suitable for general use, and prepared detailed documentation. Since the module is not likely to be ready until Spring 2009, we felt that the Drupal and iMIS communities might benefit from a summary of our approach and progress to date.
Quick question (I hope...)
My apologies if I am missing the obvious but I am just at the beginnings of my quest for an answer.
I am looking for a way to pull events down from a Facebook group to a Drupal site using the news aggregator (or something) on the Drupal side. However, at the Facebook group site there does not seem to be a publicly accessible news feed (rss or atom) url - not that I can find anyway... This doesn't surprise me, they [Facebook] may not want you to pull feeds down unless you're a member of the group or they may only want to restrict you to working with the Facebook UI itself?
