this site at www.envirogroup.com.au is built on the Zen Sub theme. There were two other affiliate sites www.envirobrite.com.au and www.enviroshop.com.au. The latter two sites were built using Amity Island theme from drupal.org, but I had to change it so much in the end I realise for me now that it is always easier to start from 'scratch' with Zen and work up from there. The entire environmental movement has been but a dress rehearsal for the fight against climate change. In December 2009 the most important boring meeting in history will take place. Governments will convene in Copenhagen to decide the steps that they will take globally to address climate change and with this they will decide all our futures.

Greenpeace aims to mobilise New Zealanders to ensure our representatives hear the voices of their constituency and make the right commitments to protect our fragile planet. With your help we will develop an extraordinary web platform on which this mobilisation will manifest.

As a non-profit effort, we are looking for someone that can use their drupal and custom development skills to make a real difference. It has been an exciting effort, and we have made leaps and bounds since the site launch in April. At this early stage, there is very little money to offer up for development. I am ultimately looking for people who want to see this effort succeed and will put in the extra time, but we could discuss possibilities for paid contract work, which if are working out well could evolve to be full-time positions.

The "wiki" in OneWorldWiki means mass collaboration. Originally, we started using Mediawiki but found it too limiting so we're now using the wonderful world of Drupal.

Project/Content Coordinator; Skilled with coordinating content delivery from multiple sources, repurposing to ensure best practice and most impact, as well as interfacing with designers and programmers.

One of the best ways to learn Drupal is to have a specific project to work on, and someone experienced to mentor you.

Green Map System is a non profit based in the East Village. We work with community groups all over the world helping them map their local environment. Since I started working with Green Map in January I've developed a Drupal 4.7-based site that lets these mapmakers share their work with a global audience, and share mapmaking resources with each other. I've got to start work on some other projects, but there are still things we would like to add and improve on the site.
