problem

Hi

I tried to install aegir on ubuntu via the shell script. (On an ubuntu 9.04 VMWare image)
First question: in the wiki they mention to "su - aegir" to run the script instead of "sudo". But how can you do it when the aegir user isn't created yet (this is done in the script).

So i did sudo sh install.sh. Everything went fine, I tried to install the domain "aegir.local". After the installation, I'm not able to reach aegir.local. (firefox says address not found) What do I need to do?

I am creating this discussion because i am getting problem of javascript all the time in IE7.
First i tried popupapi module and its working fine in FF but when I tried it in IE7, it messed up all things. Then i tried jquery moduler popup, thickbox and other but no success...

Then i tried editablefields, and again same problem. Editablefields module also not working in IE7...

I mean to say javascript is not rendering at all in IE7. I always getting two javascripts errors
1. "htmls.length is null or not an object"
2. "Object doesn't support this property or method"

Jag har byggt ett litet program som jag kör genom drupal och vilket har en egen inloggning. Det går fint att logga in men problemet ligger i att jag loggas ut såfort jag går till en annan sida.

Någon som varit med om något liknande, vad kan det bero på, någon som har en lösning??

I just upgraded a client's site to 6.12 and I'm a newbie at all this. So I followed the instructions, backed up the DB (and since it's a new site....there's practically no data) backed up the files and then deleted everything from the server and uploaded 6.12. Hit update.php and did the upgrade. Now i get redirected to the install.php page no matter what I do. Fix?

Det är trevligt att höra att det finns så många Drupalmäniskor som engagerar sig i den kommande sajten, givetvis är jag också av uppfattningen att den borde vara på svenska men om det finns starka skäl till att ha den tvåspråkig så är det också OK!
Jag har ett problem och en fråga:
jag har satt upp en sajt åt en organisation och gett moderatorbehörighet åt de som ska driva den, vilket oturligt nog gav dem möjlighet att städa bort mitt administratörskonto (user/1)!!!!!!
Innebär detta några problem?
Är det något som inte kan göras utan detta konto?
