DrupalCamp7 Session Ideas
At the meeting tonight we started the planning process for DrupalCamp7. The date is still TBD but we're looking at the end of November or beginning of December. I volunteered to coordinate assembling a list of sessions and presenters so I'll kick that off here.
If you're interested in presenting a topic or would like to suggest a topic then post a comment on this page. As the date approaches we'll consolidate this into a wiki page to match up ideas and presenters.

Last weekend at DrupalCampLA we had a great turnout of women using Drupal, including a number of technical presentations led by women! Out of 66 sessions, 13 were presented by women (this includes Brenda Boggs' "The Doctor Is In" shift at the Drupalchix table and events such as that). 7 of those sessions were technical in nature, and while many of them were aimed at those new to Drupal, they were valuable topics such as Views, Upgrading from Drupal 5 to Drupal 6, and Site Migration.

What is DrupalCamp?
DrupalCamp Hudson Valley will be a 1 day "no-holds-barred discussion, workshop/code-a-thon involving the Free Software content management system Drupal." Here you can learn about what drupal is, what it can do, and how to setup your own drupal website for yourself or your group. If you've already been using drupal it is a great opportunity to get answers to your questions from drupal experts and find out about new modules and the state-of-the art of drupal. There will be breakout rooms as well for those looking to discuss specific topics and collaborate on projects.

DrupalCamp NYC 7 - Let's start the ball rolling
Following an inspiring evening at Drupal Beers, it seems a good time to start thinking about the next New York DrupalCamp. The last one was at the end of February, so if we are to have it six months later that would be late August/early September. DrupalCon Paris is the 1st - 5th of September.

NYC Drupal Camps are free events, but we do need some sponsors in order to make it happen. Please get in touch with Eric to discuss sponsoring the event. NYC Drupal Camp 6?! let's start the ball rolling
I've heard some rumblings about the next drupal camp and figured that the discussion would be best posted here.
I would like to see us do the next Camp before the upcoming DrupalCon, maybe the last weekend in feb. or maybe even two weeks after DrupalCon, the 3rd weekend in March.
Considerations:

As promised here are my raw notes from the presentation. You'll notice it isn't identical to what I presented, but pretty close - I do tend to improvise...
Hope to see you all at future meetups and camps - go drupal!
