Informal gathering of Drupal and web/app development novices, experts, and enthusiasts. This is your opportunity to do some co-working, ask questions, share ideas, get some work done, and maybe even have a beer!

Tiger Labs is at 252 Nassau Street, next to Ivy Inn, on the 2nd floor. This is about 2 blocks from the Friend Center where the monthly Drupal meetup is held. Parking is free at meters after 7 pm nearby on Olden and William Streets, or park in one of the University lots on Williams St. or another side street.

You know how to make flexible content types, how to structure your site with custom paths and menus, and how to create dynamic lists of content with Drupal. And yet - you've found the limitations of the core block system to place the content on your site. Now you want to know how you can get control of where content is placed in your page structure. Drupal has a variety of approaches to making dynamic layouts, and in this course you will see how to use them, and find the right approach for you.

All community members interested in using Drupal as well as strengthening the Drupal community are invited. We'll discuss recent and exciting Drupal-related news, present interesting topics, and share knowledge. We'll start our meeting with two ten 10 to 15 minute sessions and/or one longer 30 to 40 minute presentation. Please propose a session or voice your support for a colleague's proposal using the comments section below.

In two days, participants will be brought up to speed on Drupal and will be ready to tackle their own project. Learn how to manage media, build calendars and complex, dynamic queries of content by selecting and configuring the most popular modules.

This course is suitable both for users who are new to Drupal and those who want to broaden their Drupal skills. Participants will also review Drupal's block system and using taxonomy to categorize their content.

In this course, you'll learn how to leverage Drupal's API by creating custom modules. You'll develop a module step by step and learn how to navigate the extensive documentation available and determine where you can hook into the system and add your new functionality. This course was designed for those who have experience with site building and knowledge of PHP.

As part of a global initiative to train more Drupalists, Blink Reaction is running three more free Hello Drupal sessions this year.
