Well priced training 6mnths-year

Hi South Africa,

I have a question, does anyone know of any companies that are offering a mixed bag of training options that would fit in well with someone going the php opensource direction of web design, something that will be well rounded, basic to advanced and not prohibitively expensive. well rounded being the operative word.

Thanks to all those who attended the recent Joburg meetup. It was the largest event by this user group so far and all the feedback has been very positive. A summary of the event has been posted to drupal.co.za.

Cape Town Drupal Meetup

I want to organise a Drupal Meetup in Cape Town, I would like to know if anyone is interested and where will be the most convinient place to meet, perhaps a Mugg & Bean as they have Wifi and are practically everywhere. So where would be the most convinient place? perhaps the V&A Waterfront M&B? please suggest some places :)

Now all we need is a date, we could meet sometime in march, perhaps an evening in the first week - maybe a friday - i dont know.

where can i get drupal stickers from?

Hello, I am in Cape Town and I would like to know if it possible for me to get my hands on some drupal stickers, and if so where/how can i get them.

Also, what sort of user/developer base is there in Cape Town?

When's the next meetup in Cape Town?

Hi all.

I can kick myself for not joining on the Drupal Groups earlier - I would have loved to attend the CT get-together. ; (
Any plans for another g2gether anytime soon?
I'm sure there are other Drupalers in CT - I'll keep my ears open.

For a start, exchanging contact details might be a good idea - how about that.

Please feel free to contact me via my user name. ; )

Reminder: Johannesburg meeting

Reminder to all Jozi drupal denizens that we have a meetup on Saturday 16 Feb 2008 at Obsidian Systems at 13:00.

Obsidian is on the corner of Kelly and Bosbok streets in Randpark Ridge. From Beyers Naude, traveling away from the city once over the N1 you take the 3rd robot right into Yesterhout, the 1st street left into Kelly the 1st street left into Bosbok and the 1st entrance left into Obsidian parking area.

See you then

Anton

Drupal key to our non-profit progress

Hi Everyone

Keeping this short is tough (and off to a bad start ;) - at home (South Africa) there is huge social disparity which is perpetuated by only the well-off having access to resources that could potentially break the cycle. We are focused on education. Many students in poorer schools (>50%) do not even have sufficient textbooks. Enter our project - a note: without publishers', editors' and authors' royalties a hard cover 250 page books costs less than ZAR20 (<$2.5) to print:
