Well, I have decided to go ahead with the web development training business, even though it means I will probably have to stay in this perpetually cold and wet city a bit longer :)

These are my current ideas and I would appreciate any feedback.

A Digital Agency based in South Melbourne are seeking a HTML/CSS Web Developer with Drupal experience. The agency provide strategic interactive design and development services for a range of clients. Their a small growing team, and this role will be managing another Web Developer. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of; templating PhotoShop files, browser compatibility, web standards, SEO, and usability. Experience working with Drupal, Ajax, Flash and Javascript are also essential.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years Drupal experience
- Excellent communication skills

The Victorian Employers' Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VECCI) is calling for submissions from interested local, national and international Drupal developers for web development services as detailed at http://www.carbondown.com.au/rfp/

This job suits an experienced Drupal agency. It is not a job within VECCI, rather VECCI is seeking a vendor to complete the work.

The ABC Digital Radio team has a job going for a web developer to be based in Melbourne. It’s a 4 day-a-week job on a one-year contract. $62,961 - $68,623 p.a. plus super. Pro rata.

“ABC Radio is launching new music-based digital radio services in 2009, with extensive websites featuring rich content and social media functionality. We are seeking a talented and experienced web developer to devise, extend and maintain the functionality of the websites.

Looking for a freelance Drupal developer (preferably in Melbourne) who can work with me on some reasonably small websites for SMB customers.

Need to have the following basic skills:

• Create Themes
• Create custom modules
• Work with myself, my graphic designer and the client to spec and price jobs
• Experience with 5.x and 6.x

Desirable skills:

We have created a new job, initially 3 days per week, for a relatively experienced Drupal developer in our publishing office in central Melbourne.

Lonely Planet have just completed a prototype project using Drupal. In the project we had to demonstrate a broad range of technologies, including B2B web services, mobile applications and semantic theming. The outcome of the prototype project is the kick-off of a CMS replacement project using Drupal a new content management framework.
