DrupalCamp is coming to Bangkok!

We will hold the first-ever DrupalCamp in Thailand on Saturday, May 24th, at the conference facilities of Inet, on the 13th floor of the Thai Summit Tower, Petchaburi Road, just east of the Ratchadaphisek / Asoke intersection.

We will also be running a full-day "Intro to Drupal" track that will cover everything from setting up a basic install to intermediate skills of customizing with modules, CCK and Views.

A few of us up here in Northwestern Wisconsin are trying to get together the first-ever Western Wisconsin BarCamp. We're in the early organizing phases - meaning mostly we're mulling it over and looking for a time and place. Of course, the BarCamp will feature lots of Drupal love.

Tanto tiempo sin pasar por aquí (me tomé unas vacaciones), y me estoy poniendo al día con algunos posts EXCELENTES! Gracias!

Como hasta ahora nos hemos reunido días jueves luego de las 18 horas, (horario propuesto en las primeras reuniones) y luego se sumó gente nueva, parece justo y democrático repensar cuándo nos reunimos.

La idea es que cada uno diga qué le conviene más, así podemos organizarnos mejor.

BarCamp Nashville is happening August 18, 2007 and Middle TN Druplers are meeting-up!! Be sure to join us. Admission is free to everyone. Current plans are for Nashville Drupal Heads to meet briefly at 3 pm prior to Jared's (jscheel) presentation at 3:40 or so. After that we may meet-up for a longer session. If you are lost, look for the "Powered by Drupal" t-shirt. This will get you connected.

WHY: Because we're geeks, and don't need any other reason

Last week was spent still working on UI enhancements and trying to tackle the problem how how to get AJAX to gracefully work if javascript isn't enabled. Later in the week I ended up attending barcamp. At barcamp I met the authors of the first jQuery book, they also gave a presentation on jQuery and answered some questions I had about it for me. I also found out that one of the authors is really involved with the Drupal community, Jon Chaffer. He is known as JonBob in the drupal community.
