NYC DUG Stickers sneak peek
Made possible by colaborative group effort. I give you, NYC DUG stickers version one.
Thank you Charles Novick and Jonathan Berger for providing the designs. Thank you the group for picking the best one!
I will be distributing stickers at the upcoming Meetup, the rest will go to NYC DrupalCamp.
I've thrown in a few extra bucks to make it 1000 stickers instead of 500, so we have plenty to go around!
Here are the actual stickers:

You'd need multi-faceted web development skills, being able to tap dance across PHP, SQL, XHTML, CSS and javascript routines. You'll have experience with Drupal and/or ExpressionEngine. New Features and a New Look for Drupal NYC
I've taken advantage of the new Panels integration with Groups, http://groups.drupal.org/node/10445, to create what I hope will be a more useful site for the NYC Drupal community. The site now has the a welcome panel and a featured post in the top row. The next two rows list the latest Discussions, Polls, Events, and Wiki posts. Finally, the good old river of news lists all posts to the site in chronological order.
Front-End Developer / Themer | Furnace Media
I am looking to collaborate with a front-end developer/themer to take my Drupal-based education site to the next level.
It is video journalism curriculum for middle school students (21MediaLit.com), which allows them to upload and share their work. We are prototyping in a classroom right now, but the next step is to refine the look and functionality before reaching out to more schools.
Web Developer | Pitchfork Media Inc.
Pitchfork seeks an enthusiastic web developer with webmaster/content management experience to work full-time as a multi-faceted technologist in our Chicago or Manhattan office to maintain and develop multiple high-traffic, Drupal-based sites. Work environment is creative, fast-paced, and Mac-based with competitive pay and benefits. Most day-to-day tasks deal with the development and maintenance of a frequently updated e-zine. Job requires round-the-clock availability (when needed).
Which weekend should DrupalCampNYC 2008 be on?

Drupal NYC IRC channel
Please join us in IRC.
We've created a channel on IRC that is for our group. Others are welcome as well, but this is mainly for our NYC group. Sometimes your questions fall into the mix on regular Drupal IRC channels. This is why we've created our very own channel. We can get to know each other a bit more, when it comes time for our meetups we'll be more connected. So I invite everyone to join us.

Contract Drupal developer needed | Transportation Alternatives
Hi good people,
Transportation Alternatives is looking to hire someone to build a website for an urban planning competition we're holding in conjunction with the Design Trust for Public Space. The site should be small and basic enough, but needs to incorporate a few key user management functions. My sense is that what isn't already out there developed in CCK land would be relatively straightforward for an experienced drupalista/o.
- Timeline is during the next month, we would launch mid-November
- If you can theme we would love to have you do that as well. Not a deal-breaker.
