OpenPackage Media has just released a new module called OpenPackage YouTube syndication.

This module allows video that is published using OpenPackage Video to be automatically syndicated to the YouTube 'branded garden'.

YouTube is termed a 'branded garden' because it is not possible to view YouTube content without being exposed to the YouTube brand. The term is derived from 'walled garden'.

YourSports (Seattle) is an online broadcast network for high school and small college sports that is syndicating games through regional newspapers. Check us out in action on the Seattle Times at www.seattletimes.com/highschoolsports.

Here as a first step, I would like to collect lots of possible problems in aggregation area. Please share your opinion about these questions to help Drupal 7 to have as good aggregator as possible :) :

Node creation

I am currently looking for an experienced Drupal developer to work on or consult on 2 projects:

1. Maintenance work & upgrades on an existing Drupal 5.1 retail site (http://everywheremaps.com);
2. Transferring an existing (news publishing) site onto a Drupal setup. The new site will have the following components: user management (protect private content areas), content sydication (for both public users and subscribed users); searchable archive for public content; and ad serving.

Overview: With Encrypted RSS/Atom feeds, buddylist-like features become possible cross-site. The project would be to develop a module which generates and consumes syndicated feeds, where reading them in only possible behind a login.
