Thanks in Advance

Dates for the next NH NH Drupal Summit

Last time we met for a “Summit” in Concord, we all agreed that another meetup sometime in the winter would be good to start firming up plans for another DrupalCampNH. AND, we always like to have an excuse to get together over for and beer to relax together.

So the time has come… I’m going to make arrangements with the Barley House in Concord, where we’ve met before, and I’d like to get some idea from all of you about when would be the best time.

Based on feedback from the Barley House, and at the recent Manchester meetup, these are the most likely dates.

Saturday, Feb. 2, 1-7pm

Topic for discussion - Loading JS's in modules

I got a topic to talk about. We could even start the discussion here as well as at the next meetup.

I been fairly successful writing my own modules except for ONE thing. Loading an existing javascript using the API, drupal_add_js(). So far I have not got it to work and I've had to revert to putting the JS into a template file and loading it which is wrong, but works...

Each time I have tried this it causes all kinds of havoc on the site, admin menu stops working and all my flexsliders.

11 Months of work - It finally went live!

After almost 11 months of work. Starting from square zero with never building a Drupal or using Drupal to a full site migrated off of a horrible CMS platform, my site went live last night at 2030EST!

http://www.swingsurgeon.com

We migrated 150,000+ users (with up to 10 security roles each), 1300+ blog posts, and 40,000+ comments!

The site is Drupal 7 and incorporates a slew of modules to include Drupal Commerce.
