We redesigned our site about 6 months ago and have an in-house developer (me). However, we've decided we'd like to change our main page which requires some CSS work and some layout changes and automation. Unfortunately, I don't have the time or expertise at this point to try and make these changes confidently. I'm looking for a contractor (independent) to work with on tweaking our front page content area and perhaps a couple other small projects.

You should have sites to show, willing to work with a large organization, and okay working with me to make it happen before the school year.

Hi there,
Good to see representatives from the BAy Area!
I am wondering if someone on this group has experience with the Video module. I need to do some tweaking and alignments to the module on my website (www.altglobe.com).
Payment upon experience and productivity.
Cheers,

Hi All,

Just after being denied for the proposal of a new Group entry entitled "Documentation Task Force" i was referred
that here is the best place for my efforts:

For those of the Group who does not know my person and motivations, i will suggest to read some posting I already
have contributed on drupal.org to focus on the big problem to get oriented in the Drupal.org ---- DRUPAL HANDBOOKS.

  1. Is there a task force that is dedicate to correct or complete ...

A complete solution for task/project/issue/case/ticket management with Drupal

I've been evaluating solutions for Project management (for the duration of this post, that includes what i describe as project, issue, ticketing, case tracking, and pretty much anything that falls in that category) solutions with Drupal, over a year actually. I keep being enticed by the features of each individual solution, and new promises that are announced for each module(s) and trying them out and coming to the same conclusion with each of them. And yes, all of them seem to have the same problems that I'm hitting repeatedly.

Duplicate efforts?

See this node http://groups.drupal.org/node/7191 titled "Project Quality Metrics" in the Drupal.org redesign plan for the Drupal Association group. It looks like all that activity should either be here, or all the activity intended for this group should be there, i.e. duplicate efforts.

I'm looking for a group of Malaysian Drupaliens, who would like to work on a collaborative project in setting up a Society herein Malaysia, not only for Malaysians but also for the World Community.

The site project should be multi-lingual : most likely the basic three main languages of the World - English / Malay / French. If we do have someone from Malaysia who can undertake Arabic, and Mandarin, they're most welcomed.

Greetings again.

After the excellent work from yoroy in the Donate spotlight banner (now in rotation on Drupal.org) I am back again to request help for another design issue for the Drupal.org website. We want to prominantly place a donate link on the Drupal.org site that shows on all pages. We are requesting design ideas for how to implement this into the current BlueBeach theme. Yoroy has again stepped forward with a design proposal:

Guys,

Im developing a module called Live Translation. Its divided in three submodules:

  • Live Translation: all end users will update all strings automatically. no more po/pot files.
  • LT Extractor: similar to POTX > extract all translatable strings from all projects that your site hosts. It also provides a dynamic XML with updates, so users can download it.
  • LT WebTranslation: provides a online interface to all users translate all strings. It uses OG to manage who can translate, sho can create a suggestion and who cannot help.

Abstract
I will create a system to measure the quality of the contributed projects on Drupal.org, so site administrators can rapidly make informed decisions about the health of a contribution. The system will integrate with current infrastructure and use several criteria to assess the quality of each project.
