context
"Context"ualizando as coisas
Desde que conheci o módulo "context", fiquei empolgado com a possibilidade de não depender basicamente da url e papéis dos usuários para contextualizar menus, blocos, etc. Ganhamos em flexibilidade com ele.
"You can think of each context as representing a "section" of your site. For each context, you can choose the conditions that trigger the context to be active and choose different aspects of Drupal that should react to this active context."
Esse link aqui tem uma explicação muito completa sobre o funcionamento dele:
Groups, Spaces, Context, Features...Do I need all those?
I'm building a website that consist of a main website and three office locations/branches websites. The main website pulls content from all three locations.
Location websites must have a 'home page' with a unique url, as well as the main website ofcourse. Each location must have an allocated admin role that can manage that location content only.
Module Developer | GoingOn
GoingOn (http://www.goingon.com/) is actively seeking Drupal developers who can create high quality modules for our platform. We are building upon a Spaces, Features and Organic Groups system, so much of the work we will contract out will be building og_spaces compatible features and any modules necessary to drive the feature. We're building a social e-learning platform on Drupal where many of the features will be social, collaboration and education focused.
July Meetup Notes
The July meetup of the (central) Florida Drupal User's Group was held on Saturday, July 18 at the offices of Mind Comet on Altamonte Springs.
There were 15 people in attendance including some new faces. There were Drupal developers of all skills, hobbyists, marketing people, and business owners.
How can I retrieve the context from a panel to a custom block placed in it ? (with panels 3)
I don't figure out how to retrieve the panel's context to modifie the block's content.
Maybe would I better to make a new pane instead a new block ?
It's would be great if I could choose the context and pass arguments form the block setting in panel, like with a view.
Let's imagine I've made a custom block in a custom module like this :

We need some tasks to be done QUICKLY and CLEANLY on the Taxonomy_Quick_Find.module.
These tasks will paid/sponsored, please make us an offer through my contact page or doc2@drupalfr.org.
Here there are:
Only list nodes that users can view - respect access module grants
Making stable "Node lists in collapsed nodetype-fieldsets"
Changing taxonomy term causes results to collapse but they never expand/slide down again
Contextual Views
I'd like to seed a discussion on Contextual overrides for views 2 module, a possible extension to the Interests module (Which i originally developed while working at Agileware and still partly maintain). I would also like to point out contextual based modules already exist, but they are not what this module has in mind.
To give some background on the idea...
Panels 2 Context
Here is a video I posted a while ago on the subject. I plan on doing a few more, one about relationships for sure, and some other sweet things you can do with this module. Any requests?
