Job Description

As the Front-End Web Developer, you will participate in the development and redevelopment of websites on the Drupal platform in Fort Collins, Colorado.

• Work on a small team with other designers and developers to enhance and create custom Drupal sites with an emphasis on reusability across multiple websites
• Integrate designs within the Drupal framework as well as other systems
• Ensure that design and functionality meet usability and workflow standards and requirements
• Implement bug fixes and assist with routine maintenance of existing websites
• Research emerging technologies to help identify potential revenue opportunities and/or enhancements to the website user experience
• Participate in all aspects of website design/development: analysis, planning, testing, development, and maintenance

Required Skills/Experience:

- Experience developing the Drupal theme layer
- Strong skills in (X)HTML/HTML 5 and CSS
- Experience working with jQuery/JavaScript
- Ability to code by hand
- Solid understanding of Web standards and usability
- Knowledge of/Awareness of quality user experience
- Knowledge of responsive/mobile-first design

Twitter is looking for great Software Engineers with strong Drupal framework and theming engine experience, to build and expand a Platform + Framework that will power multiple websites.

Leveraging Drupal's PAC architecture, you will focus on building a Framework that allows us to re-use components and efficiently deliver high quality products:

• Develop Controller components in a modular way, bundling business logic in shared Features (e.g. develop ONE Blog feature for all websites)

The Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) is requesting expressions of interest from interested parties who have theme development experience with OpenAtrium (http://openatrium.com). Specifically, RNAO would like to contract services to build a custom theme for the RNAO Communities (http://communities.rnao.ca/) website based on an existing design framework. This RFEI is intended to identify individuals and organizations who have expertise in OpenAtrium theme development to complete a short term contract with RNAO. This may lead to future contracts and opportunities.

The Harvard Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC), known as Harvard Catalyst, is seeking an experienced Drupal developer for a 5-month contract position (Feb-June). You will work closely with a team of engineers, developers and designers on all aspects of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, functional specifications, design, development, QA, roll-out, and maintenance.

Required qualifications include experience with; Drupal 6 and 7, custom module development, and theme development.
