Drupal 7 API is now slushed and frozen. Now is the time for Contrib modules to start upgrading to Drupal 7. The #D7CX movement wants to see as many contributed modules as possible be ready by the time Drupal 7.0 is released. Lets get our Boston maintained modules upgraded!. Even if you don't do module development, you an be helpful here by reviewing module issue queues, QA testing, and documentation writing. There is a job for everyone.

I'm a media studies grad student at MIT working at the Center for Future Civic Media (in conjunction with the Media Lab) on a project to connect teenagers in different countries as "digital penpals." We're working to develop a website that will be a forum for students to share multimedia projects and interact; the pilot groups include Burmese refugee youth in Asia and Indiana, as well as kids in Liverpool and Brooklyn. The project is led by a group in NYC called Digital Democracy, with collaboration from the arts organization Eyebeam.

I have fading images are not showing on the front page when I log out is that permissions, a block created w/ Views Rotator, is this permissions?,
everything is working fine when I am logged in but once logged out the cycle of fading images appear?

I looked through permissions but nothing seemed relevant, I wondered if it was one of the settings in Views?

Bentley University's Web Services group is seeking a creative Drupal Web Developer. The position is a three-month contract with the potential to continue on a more permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering to maintain and extend our Drupal CMS via the web sites of 150+ internal clients. The role ranges from building entirely new sites (within the Bentley CMS) to feature enhancements on existing sites. Because of frequent customer contact, telecommuting is not possible. This is an onsite role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Looking to hire a freelance Drupal developer or small firm to help the American Repertory Theater with maintenance and extension of their current Drupal site. Extensive knowledge of Drupal and excellent communication skills required. A knack for teaching and explaining jargon especially helpful. I'm thinking about heading to Café on the Common in Waltham on Thursday to do some remote working on some Drupal projects, and I'd love to have some company. Come by with your laptop, whatever you're working on, and we'll sit and work together in the same space, give each other feedback/support, etc.

We looking for a Drupal 6 developer/themer. We have a few production sites up and running and will have more in the coming year. We are rolling out enhanced features for an existing site in phases and need some reinforcements. We are generally looking for coders who can turn out things quickly. We typically provide a very detailed scope of deliverables. We have lots of Drupal sysadmin expertise so we are looking for someone who can work on themes, templates and integrating modules.

Lightning Talks

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to present for 10 minutes on a topic of their choosing. You may show off your Drupal site, ask some questions of the audience, give a module demonstration, share some marketing ideas for Drupal, and so on. Just keep it brief. No expertise or planning required - just do it.

Dinner

After the meetup, some of us will continue the conversation over dinner at MIT's Muddy Charles Pub. We will likely pre-order some pizza so it meets us there. We'll take a count about half way through the meeting.
