Hi All,

The Alliance for Community Media NE (http://acm-ne.org/) is meeting in Burlington on the 21st and 22nd (Thurs and Fri next week). Please see http://groups.drupal.org/node/22117 post in the PEGspace group. I was thinking this would be a good chance for a Drupal meeting and for the folks in the ACM to get in touch with some of the folks working in community media in Vermont.

Hi All,

we'll be hosting a meeting of Drupaleros at our office at the top of Church St. in Burlington on the evening of April 16th at 5. Leave a comment if you'd like this time adjusted earlier or later in the day. Beer and pizza are both readily available! We can accommodate a dozen folks or so at our office and will have wireless and a projector available.

Possible discussion topics include the recently released contribute module (http://drupal.org/project/contribute), subversion and flash integration.

Tag New Media (http://www.tagnewmedia.com/) is located in Burlington, Vermont. We are enthusiastic about using Drupal as our CMS platform. We have one Drupal developer (myself) but we're looking for additional developers to hire on contract when we get overloaded. We also have an open permanent position, for which Drupal experience is a plus (alongside good general php and front-end development skills).

DrupalCamp NYC was a blast: lots of geek love and code (and beer and pizza). See a description of presentations at http://groups.drupal.org/node/13855. There were 100 folks the first day and maybe 50 on Sunday. I threw out the idea of folks coming up to VT and there was some interest. I'm happy to try to get this group organized. I'd love to have the Vermont Drupal users get together online and in person to help each other out, share ideas and expertise and support each other's efforts.

I see we've had some folks join in. Can we introduce ourselves? And can you offer up some ideas on how a group like this could help you do what you do with Drupal?
