Front-End Web Designer/Developer This position calls for a technologically proficient front-end web designer/developer to join the Office of Marketing and Communications.

XPAND Corporation is looking for Drupal Developers to join our ranks. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience developing web-based CMS application using Drupal and other open-source technologies including PHP, Zend Framework, Apache, and MySQL. This position will be responsible for analyzing user requirements, and designing and developing web applications using open source products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop web applications using Drupal, PHP, JavaScript/AJAX, HTML, CSS and open-source libraries and frameworks such as Zend;

This is for a full time in house position, so please no Consultants or outsourcing companies.

OUR ORGANIZATION:

A nonprofit in Old Town Alexandria in a beautiful office right on the water, accessible by metro (free shuttle). A great group of people, completely fun environment.  Not your typical nonprofit.  IT department is challenging, creative and always working on new and exciting technologies ( blogs, podcasts, open source, ruby on rails, .net , CF, PHP, MYSQL, Virtualization, FinalCut, S3, Cloud Computing ).  If it’s web, we do it.
