I'm considering hosting a social meetup @ the studio I share in Williamsburg, to hang out, and shoot photos for NYC Drupal peoples.
I need practice, and some folks need pics.
I'm floating this for interest, and preference re: days/times that are generally good, here, straight to me, or IRC (LP_)
Some of my portrait work (don't laugh at my site skillz)
Though I would expect most of this to be more straightforward, we do have tons of neat props, backdrops, etc..
..and I might make something custom, like a big Druplicon to stick yr face through.
Believe it or not with this month's New York social we celebrate 2 full years of Drupal Happy Hour.
Let's go out, have a few beers (or beverage of your choice) and talk Drupal. No agenda, just a bunch of geeks hanging out.
Same place, same time as last month:
House of Brews (51st street one)
302 West 51st Street
New York, NY 10019-6436
Drinks, Dojo, and Internet.
All in one cozy venue.
Bring something to drink, eat, and smash. We'll be breaking things, fixing things, and building other stuff. Make sure you commit your code with meaningful comments.
at the Internet Garage in BK
Did anyone claim their VPS.net accounts with their code from DrupalCon Chicago? I claimed mine and it seems like they charged me. Anyone have any updates on this? I just emailed them and will have to wait till they respond back. I was pretty sure they said it was a lifetime account.

Hello There fellow NYC Drupallers!
If you or any of your team members will be attending Drupalcon this coming week in Chicago, I would like to invite you to unwind for awhile at a very laid back party that my company is hosting.
Where: Murasaki sake & karaoke lounge (211 East Ontario - Just a few blocks south of the Sheraton)
When: Wednesday March 9th, from 8 to 10 pm
Please be sure to visit us at booth #40 in the Exhibit Hall to pick up a printed invitation to show at the door of the venue.
I hope to see you soon in breezy Chicago!
So, we ordered a whole bunch of glowstickers (http://groups.drupal.org/files/glowsticker.jpg) and we're putting together a party to get people together to help us rip the sticker sheets into small glowsticker-sized squares.
It's BYOB, but there's a coffee shop next door with plenty of wifi and computers there you can use.
The event will be held starting at 8PM March 5th at the Internet Garage (Thanks c0psrul3 for hosting!) located on N5th at Bedford Ave. in Williamsburg Brooklyn.
Angie "Webchick" Byron is coming to town to school us on how to rock Drupal 7 in the NYC stop of the Webchick Drupal 7 Tour 2011. The DrupalNYC community simply couldn't let this event go by without a party to celebrate Webchick's visit, get our great local Drupal community together for a night of good times, and give folks new to DrupalNYC a great way to get acquainted.
Free & open to everyone, whether you're attending the training or not!
When: NEW TIME: Thursday, February 17, 6:30pm-10pm (or whenever we all leave!)
Where: NEW LOCATION: House of Brews, 302 West 51st Street, New York, NY 10019 (map + info | directions from the Muse Hotel training venue)
