Personally I feel a need to meet Drupal colleagues to share information, discuss problems and listen to solutions for all aspects of Drupal.
It could also be quite a learning moment to invite speakers who have extensive Drupal experience, e.g. someone like Pierre Guillaume Wielezynski, who leads the WFP Web Team.
Anyone with any other suggestions? Please let us know so we can make some kind of planning, invite speakers and prepare the first meeting.
We organize next saturday a learn sprint in belgium at the BrainDUG meeting.
I've read the ladder till the "Write tests" chapter and I have some suggestions / remarks for helping organizers .
- Getting started in the issue queue
I think this chapter go too fast comparing on the two next ones, people have to directly submit an issue. If think regarding the name of the chapter, it could be the place to explain how is organized the Drupal issue list, what are the meaning of the different status, prios, ... Explain what is shown when we choose an issue page.Read more
Dear Job Posters:
Please include in your job post instructions for submitting resumes/applications -- include email address or direct link to such info on your site. It is surprising how many of you (including some big agencies) do not include that information -- especially perplexing when your site has no link to an employment page that does. I'm sure that most of us would like to communicate with you in the way most preferred by you...if you just let us know how that is.Read more
I posted a feature request: Field Type Template Suggestions to allow us to have #field_type template suggestion and preprocess functions in core.
At the moment you cannot override something like all taxonomy reference fields or all image fields, you are limited to field_name, bundle and field_name__bundle which are all groovy but not the raw down-low grunt needed when you want to simply override all fields of a particular type.Read more
Please feel free to post your suggestions, comments and feedback to Drupal User Groups Philippines. Thank you very much.
As you might know, we try to organize at least two big Drupal events a year: one in North America and one in Europe. The latest Drupal conference took place in Vancouver and attracted more than 150 people! That is almost 6 months ago so a couple months ago we started scouting venues for this year's European Drupal conference. We are pleased to announce that this year's DrupalCON Europe which will take place in Brussels (Belgium), the second half of September (two months from now!). We'll communicate the exact dates and location as soon we have confirmation from the venue -- hopefully by the end of next week.Read more
