Different bat time and same place, you say? Yes, we have moved to the last Thursday of every month instead of Mondays. Schedules have changed and we are giving this a whirl.
We will be spending the first hour chatting it up about any questions, comments surrounding Drupal. It's "all in", so bring your questions about Drupal projects you are working on. If we can prevent you from buying a new stress ball, it's a win!
It was just 4 months ago but it's time to start planning for the next big DrupalCorn Camp. I would like to start with a retrospective to air all the things we want to improve upon and all the things that went well and we would like to repeat.
Maybe this can be a proxy for our December meeting that we always cancel?Read more
I am working out of the FFA Enrichment Center on the DMACC campus in Ankeny this week as part of a code jam. This is a fantastic space for a conference. DrupalCorn 2013?
I know some people were looking to learn a bit about SCM (Source Code Management) with Git. If you want to contribue code back to the Drupal project or contrib. modules on drupal.org, you will need to learn Git.
The Des Moines Web Geeks is having a hands-on Git lab Monday, Nov. 12 at 6pm 9pm in Des Moines. I'm going to see if I can go. If I can, I would be willing to organize a carpool from Ames.Read more

You may have heard a lot about the DrupalCorn Camp 2012 but there is also a pre-camp Training Day that you may consider attending. Although the courses are not totally free, at $20 (lunch included) this is a nominal fee.
Chris Shattuck and Michael Hofmockel are executing two all day training courses that will run the day before the camp.
