AmesNewsOnline.com, a hyper-local website delivering news and event information to the Ames, IA, area needs a drupal developer to complete work begun by a Drupal expert earlier this year. Due to delays on our part, the project was put on hold for four months and now that developer is unavailable to complete the project before March 2012 at the earliest. We need to have it completed by the end of 2011. even sooner if possible.

Web Developer

The National Cooperative Grocers Association is now accepting applicants for the full-time position of Web Developer. This position will report to the Director of Information Technology, and will be located in the Iowa City office. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; substantial background and knowledge of the Drupal CMS environment, as well as Apache, MySQL and PHP; experience with web application development; ability to plan for, carry out and provide support for projects with minimal supervision; strong written and verbal communication skills; and a strong commitment to the success of values-based independent food co-ops. Experience developing and maintaining a large-scale commercial website a plus.
