Front-End Web Developer

Specifically, University Communications plans and executes an integrated customer-driven marketing communications program, and collaborates with campus constituents in planning and executing effective marketing, communications and public affairs strategies.

We are looking for an experienced developer to create our internal Intranet to function as an extension of our current Drupal-based web site. This job does require occasional onsite meetings, so the selected vendor MUST be located in the immediate St. Louis area in order to work with our design and content team.

We currently have a web developer role with a boutique full service advertising agency in South Melbourne.

Candidate must have:

• 5 years agency experience
• Experience managing technical teams
• Experience in delivering large, high trafficked websites including ecommerce sites
• Experience in project based work
• Excellent understanding of the SDLC
• Advanced knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, XML, HTTP, CMS systems including Drupal and Joomla, SQL, Database Design, Apache HTTPD
• Desire to keep up with technical developments and best practices
