Acquia Drupal

Had been looking for a Drupal theme for a while that would suit our company website. I had read good reviews on the Slate and Marina themes and discovered the look of the Slate theme already resembled our site to some degree.

I downloaded the theme and converted our current HTML site to a fully functioning Drupal site in about 2 days - this would not have been possible without Slate.

Overall I love the Slate theme as it has so much functionality built in out of the box. I really liked the many pre-built regions and the ability to override CSS styles by using a separate style sheet meaning future theme upgrades should be easy. Lots of small features also make this theme feel very robust and professional such as the rounded buttons which work well across most modern browsers. Everything just looks good and feels professional.

Please take a look at the finished site and provide me with some feedback / suggestions.

Börjar man på en ny Drupalsajt idag kan man äntligen välja Drupal 6 utan att fundera så mycket och då har man numera två val, antingen gamla hederliga Drupal eller Acquia Drupal. Jag är lite nyfiken på vad ni väljer, hur många kör Acquia Drupal?

Jag antar att de flesta av er här är bekanta med Acquia Drupal, men om någon inte gör det så kommer här en kort introduktion:

Based on their product matrix it sounds as though one may download Drupal 6.5 with most of the commonly desired modules - well tested - plus some additional custom Acquia features for free with user forum only support.

Could this be the answer that many churches are seeking to bypass the setup hassle and guesswork that a module will or will not work?

De av er som prenumererar på Acquias poddsändning har förmodligen redan hört att Acquia nu har lanserat sin utökade Drupal-version, "Acquia Drupal". (Vad hände med det coola namnet Carbon?)

Jag kan stolt meddela att jag nu lyckats genomföra en uppgradering av min webbplats, och trots snåla minnesgränser fungerar det någorlunda bra att köra Acquia Drupal på one.com.
