Hobart Drupal Meetup - Drupal for Innovation.
This meetup we are very pleased to announce a guest speaker, David Peterson, travelling down from Brisbane to join us. David is one of Australia's most prominent Drupal developers as well as being a Senior Drupal Advisor for Acquia and a leading expert on RDFa (Semantic Web) development. David has led major projects for the ABC: Digital Radio & Hungry Beast, PreviousNext, the Australian War Memorial and the National Library of Australia.
We have four brief talks, followed by plenty of social discussion time.

Drupal Tasmania Meetup - 20th November
Time to regroup the Tassie Drupal community again with a great new venue at The Typewriter Factory.
It has been a while, so this will largely be a general discussion, meet/greet of who's using Drupal around town. Bring along your Drupal questions, answers and interests. We'll also open the floor to a 'show and tell' session to see what people have been up to since we last met and lastly decide on some topics and presenters for a followup session with a more focussed agenda.
All levels of Drupal experience welcome.

Well it has been a while since our last meetup and local interest in Drupal appears to have grown significantly over the last year, so about time we re-grouped, caught up on what everybody has been working on and met some of those new faces working with Drupal around Tassie.
If anyone has any topic in particular that they would like to present or see presented please speak up, otherwise Ski and I will post up some topic ideas here over the next few weeks. Perhaps a 'show and tell' of the many variations of Views usage and a preview of Drupal 7 would be good places to start.

Version Upgrade | Premier Travel Tasmania
We are looking to upgrade our two sites (www.premiertraveltasmania.com - www.tasmanien-urlaub.de) from version 5.3 to 6.x. Since there are no exotic modules I think that the work should be reasonably straightforward. Timeframe: as soon as possible.
