The Science Museum of Minnesota is hiring a Drupal developer to work as part of the team that operates the award wining Science Buzz website and exhibit.
Application deadline: June 25, 2008.

Science Buzz is expanding in many ways. Your Drupal, PHP, and web coding skills will help us:

  • develop Mentor Buzz, an online community focusing on the needs of mentors and their students talking about science
  • create unique web features focusing on contemporary issues like the 35W bridge collapse, Hurricane Katrina, or even male pregnancy!
  • build web enabled exhibits that allow other museums around the country that allow their visitors to hook into the Science Buzz community
  • create new tools that help our visitors create content along with us...we like to share authority

Hi all -

My name is Eric and I'm the Electronic Marketing Coordinator for the Science Museum of Minnesota. My main responsibility is the design and maintenance of the public museum website - www.smm.org. I've only been using Drupal for a few months, but am working on a complete overhaul of the museum website - which is built in Drupal. Thanks to all of Bryan Kennedy's great help (and a wonderful summer intern), it's not as scary of a project as I originally thought!

Hey everybody,

I thought I should say hi as a long time (well 2 years and come change) Drupal developer. I an exhibit developer at the Science Museum of Minnesota primarily using Drupal to drive our Science Buzz website and as a CMS for digital displays within our museum. I am excited to see more involvement with Drupal here in the Twin Cities.

Although I am not affiliated with them in any way I know at least one other local web resource, Twin Cities Daily Planet uses Drupal for their sites. Well, I lo
