Hola, como están???? Esta vez mi consulta al grupo es sobre algo que estuve observando.

Tengo instalado en mi FireFox el detector de backend. (http://www.backendinfo.com/)
Para mi sorpresa cuando ingresé a la casa blanca, ups mi dector no reconoce ni backend y version.
Buenisimo para ocultar información a los maliciosos.
La pregunta es: Alguien sabe como www.whitehouse.gov oculta su backend y versión??

While viewing site load results from tools.pingdom.com I noticed the files in style.css were loading in addition to mods made in local.css. This is normal and expected however it does slow site load times. I my case it really had a great effect.

I have watched the video, read the tutorials and played with my style.css file!! I've changed my image files, background, footer, legal, search bar etc color, but I STILL cannot for the life of me figure out how to change the GREEEN color on the menu blocks (the default color that is shown, for example, where it says User Login)

Please help!

I have two questions, dont think its really hard for developers but kinda confusing for the beginner. I have Drupal 6.13.
In Acquia Slate I would like to add image to the header region(i dont have a slogan or search) and have it to be displayed on all pages except front page. I already have the front page I want but would like to see additional image on header when I click any of my primary links.
Could you please advise how I separate whats displayed on front page and whats on other pages.

I really like the functionality of the Marina theme especially the Drop-down primary links menu.

Is there any way to add that functionality to the Slate theme?

In http://drupal.org/node/397242 @bigmac83 provided some great code to change the column widths of the acquia slate theme. These were done for a 1440 x 900 screen resolution.

B4 I try to do anything, i wondered if anyone had any idea on how this would work and render for lower screen resolutions? Thanks in advance.

I'm building my first Drupal website (http://www.district-a-development.com/) with Acquia Slate for a local base artist community group. Two changes I'd like to implement involve 1. front preface sidebar along with the banner image on which the mission statement is placed and 2. the left navigation menu.

Due to site testing tools suggested in another post there are now two topics I'm chasing too improve load times. I am so easily sidetracked when discovering things like this.

I was very happy with my sites performance improvements after learning about mod_deflate in Apache and now this. My personality flaw is akin to a dog on a bone and until I lose the bone it's all I think of.

First suggestion from the test was use a CDN. This is easy enough; throw money around and problem solved.

I am hoping someone can help me with my problem. I think it may be simple, yet I just don't have the knowledge or experience to accomplish it. Basically I have an image I'm using for the front page sidebar that I like, and it looks good with the standard header image. Before I started using it however, I used my own header image which I really liked. I'd keep on using it but it doesn't look good with the front page image.

What I'd like to do is use MY header image on every other page of the site except the front page. Can someone please help me accomplish this? Thanks
