Greetings Japan!

I just wanted to let you know that the next Lullabot online workshop, called "Drupal Fundamentals" has been planned at a time convenient for people in Japan to attend. We're running the workshop in the evening US time on Mondays, which works out to be Tuesday morning in Japan!

This English-language online workshop will be happening Tuesdays at 09:00* (Tokyo time) for 6 weeks starting October 13th (that's a week from today). Each class session is 2 hours long and includes question/answer time with Lullabot's experts. The price is $395 USD which at the time of this writing works out to be about ¥35000 JPY.

This workshop is perfect for anyone who is new to Drupal or just wants to complete their basic Drupal knowledge. In addition to access to the live webcasts, attendees each get their own sandbox Drupal site, and access to the class message board for help and discussion.

Shall we (re)discuss about the naming of this group (what to call this group) so that we have a conclusion in time for OSC2009 Nagoya, August 22nd.
We had had the discussion before but hadn't reached any conclusion.

URL "group.drupal.org/japan" has already been determined, but someone called our group "Japan Group", the other called "gdo japan". Another called simply "This group" :-)
I intend to request this discussion about the issue not because I think we have to decide the official naming but I want the nickname we can easily call our group.

つづけてそこに修正案（2nd draft）を載せようかと思いましたが、デザイン案だけじゃなく話題が盛り上がっていて情報量がかなり多く、そこに画像をまたたくさん載せるのは憚られました。

ハンドアウト／パンフレットのデザイン草稿を制作してみました。
＃昨晩遅くの WWDC 2009 が始まるまでヒマだったので、眠気覚ましも兼ねてちょこちょこっと。
＃MacBook Pro のぷちリニューアル、Snow Leopard の詳細発表、待望の iPhone 3GS 等、なかなか見ごたえありました♪

7月のにはどう考えても間に合いそうにないので、8月の OSC2009 Nagoya に間に合えば、という目論みです。

はじめまして
澤田＠名古屋です。
9j8さんから紹介いただき、Groups.Drupalに入りました。
9j8さんから日本でのDrupalのミーティング活動のことを、時々聞いてました。

私は、DrupalのVer4からVer5で、PostgreSQLをBackendDBとして、実験やテストサイトの運営などで遊んでました。最近のVer6は全く触れていません。

さて、8/22(土)に、名古屋市立大学にて、OSC2009 Nagoya が開催されます。
