We are currently seeking an experienced Drupal developer to start immediately. The project involves moving an existing site to Drupal plus optimizing for SEO, adding new features, and customizing modules. The website already has several thousand pages but requires a complete revamp.

This is a short term contract with the potential for longer term commitments on several ongoing projects.

Requirements:
-Proven experience building and supporting Drupal 6 sites that are feature-rich, optimized for SEO, and with high traffic.
-Solid skills in developing, customizing, and integrating modules.

This publishing giant has 6 sites running Drupal now and are looking to launch 4 more in the next 3 months. This will be working with one other person in the downtown Manhattan office. This is building and delivering a contest micro-site for an internal client. Everything is build on Drupal 6. Launch date is schedule for Mid October with more work to follow down the road.

This is a one month contract to start.

I wanted to introduce myself, and our now-powered-by-Drupal sites, PilotOnline.com and HamptonRoads.com. I'm Jeff Anderson, and I work as the product development manager for the interactive division of The Virginian-Pilot newspaper based in Norfolk, Virginia. The Pilot is a top 50/60 U.S. daily newspaper by circulation size, and PilotOnline.com was one of the first newspaper websites to go online in the early 1990s. Along with its sister site HamptonRoads.com, a local portal focused on entertainment, community and local guides, we recently ranked No. 6 in the U.S. in terms of the percentage of users in a local market who use a particular locally-focused site. On December 10, we re-launched both sites on a customized Drupal 5.x platform.

am looking for a drupal developer to work on social networking project centered on geo-spatial and interest data. I broke-down the project in several phases, phases 1 being very basic. So if you agree with this approach and you are an expert with drupal, php, google map's api, the gmap module, the categories module (CCK) and how it can apply to profiles, please do read on. Lastly, it would help tremendously if you would share with me any implementation examples similar to the specs below.

Building a site of referral services for a charity/social organization.

I’ll be using Drupal 5.1.
I believe that most everything can be done with the existing modules:
Subscribed, IM_Paypal, Fivestar or Jrating, Advertisment, Classified Ads, Job Search, Survey.

Also think I could get by with one of the available themes.

Site only needs one module complete to go live. Other modules/services will be added after.
