installation

Any tips or warnings about setting up the station module on a single website which hosts information about 5 different radio stations? Can it be done or is it assumed that the station module only handles one station per install? Should I expected to need to install station across multiple 'sites' if I want to use it's features independently for each station?

Jag har i efterhand installerat svenska i en Drupal Acquia installation men fick följande felmeddelande:

Den valda filen /var/uploads/fileYOMrT5 kunde inte laddas upp på grund av att destinationen inte är korrekt konfigurerad.

Jag vill tipsa om webbhotell som använder automatiska installationsskripts för en mängd olika open source objekt. I mitt fall använder jag Binero, som använder Installatron. Installatron sköter även om uppdateringar automatiskt.

Genom det helt automatiserade funktionen för installation av Drupal, är det en barnlek för nybörjare. Själv är jag ingen programmerare, men driver webbplatsen WhiplashInfo.se sedan flera år, som nu står inför teknikbyte. Därav mitt intressee för bl.a. Drupal.

Create a new installation/site administration mechanism for Drupal. I should be able to configure any number of sites for my Drupal installation, right from the installer, through a simple GUI, without ever needing to manually copy files. The installer should be able to create the appropriate folders and files in the sites directory for me. I also should be able to return to the installer at any time to add additional sites to my installation, or to reconfigure existing sites.

I need assistance in the configuration, customization & theming of a Drupal 5.x installation to replace an existing website.

The existing website is www.autosupply.co.jp. The Drupal powered replacement for this site needs to duplicate all of the functionality of the current site and in addition also needs to provide reliable & customizable email marketing/newsletter system. The marketing system would preferably be based on existing Drupal plugins.

Okay, since i'm busy creating a fairly heavy multisite (W.I.P.) let me share some research i've done about shared database tables etc.

We're starting with a multisite that has different content on each site, but are using the same userbase for each site, we're operating from a single database
We're starting from the drupal core essentials perspective, meaning we start with no modules enabled besides drupal required core.

Maybe someone will recognize me; I post here and there, but I would like to begin by pointing out that I did not create this group because I want to moderate it or set it's agenda; I created it so that one was available and I see my role as keeping track of what kind of Drupal distribution profiles are being developed or discussed and then reporting that information back to this group.
