I'm looking for Developers that want to be part of the 1st Social Innovation Camp in Australia. If you have followed the Social Innovation Camp in the UK you will be familiar with how it works. You get and idea and as a group you build a site that address the social need that this idea is trying to address - This happens throughout a weekend. This will be in March 5th-7th 2010 in Sydney and applications are open now.

Hi Aussie Drupalers,
I'm an old-school web designer, turned Wordpress tragic, that now finds herself wrangling a team of volunteers on a Drupal project. Woohoo! We've made great progress on the project so far, but are now looking for a bit of extra help, so I thought I'd put the word out here (hope that's ok).
ABOUT US...
Project Australia, a not-for-profit organisation helping people get their socially-focussed ideas off the ground - http://www.projectaustralia.org.au. At the moment the work is volunteer only, but this may change in the future.
WHERE WE'RE AT...
Functionality is pretty well specified and documented.
We've got Drupal up and running. Sign up, and ideas submission are pretty much done.
Modules in use so far include stuff like Organic groups, Panels, Location, Google Maps.

Hey Everyone,
I'm heading down to Sydney on the 2nd to 3rd of April for the SMX Sydney event on those days and I was wondering if any other Drupallers were attending. If so, would anyone be interested in catching up for dinner / drinks on Thursday (2nd) night?
I'll also be at the official SMX bbq on the Friday night, which would also be a good place to catch up.
Nick

Drupal/PHP/Web site talk/training/caffeine event in Sydney late January
Sometime toward the end of January 2006, possibly Saturday 20th or the 41st* , I am presenting Drupal to the Web master of a not for profit organisation in Sydney. We could make this public and invite other organisations. Have a little Drupal showcase. Make the weekend a talk session outside the showcase.
The not for profit has a room available in Hornsby, which is the equivalent of landing in Finland when you want to go diving in the tropics. Something closer to the city or Parramatta would be great.
