Drupal is growing on the UW-Madison campus. Share ideas, questions, or solutions you have about using Drupal in any way at UW. Let's hope our solutions might help the Drupal community as a whole.

Free Shipping as an option in Store Coupons module?
Does anyone know of a way to offer coupons that give free shipping using the Store Coupon module?
Create a simple drupal site | Motion:Unlimited
Who wants to help me create a drupal site for a theater group in Madison? There is no budget for this project, but you could be paid with theater tickets or other fun things.
They want a CMS, a blog with user comments and maybe some other stuff.
Madison Drupal Users Group -- October
Where: The 2nd floor conference room at DANEnet. 517 N Segoe.
This month we'll have our usual Q&A / Tips & Tricks sharing from 6-7.
From 7-8 we'll talk about writing a custom module (accessing the database, altering a form, adding permissions, etc).
If anyone has any specific ideas for a module we can write during the meeting, please leave a comment below.
Student Drupal Tech Help
I work for a group at the UW that manages a small group of Drupal sites for departments in our building. (No, this isn't a service we extend to just any department, it has to be in our building.)
However, when approached for this service, we always stress how
1) we will give you a blank drupal install, maybe a theme or two, a tutorial on how to use it and let you go to town.
2) we will not do custom design.
Web Themer/Developer | Computer Sciences, UW-Madison
The CS department at UW-Madison is looking for help in redesigning their web site in drupal.
Successful bidder must have drupal experience with large, diverse and preferably academic sites such as ours.
We are looking to maintain the graphical quality of the current (customized dreamweaver) site while dramatically improving our ability to maintain it in a decentralized fashion. You will work a person on our internal Lab staff who will provide advice on the current setup and help with aspects of design and implementation. Prefer someone local to UW-Madison.
Madison Drupal Users Group -- September
This month we'll again be meeting at DANEnet in the second floor conference room from 6-8pm.
Rather than having a structured topic, this month will focus on Demos, tip sharing, and Q&A.
Hope to see you there.
Madison Drupal Users Group -- August
After recovering from DrupalCampWI, we're back on schedule.
This month, we'll be meeting at DANEnet (517 N Segoe).
We'll be taking a look at, and discussing Open Atrium. Neil will also demo stepping through a Drupal page load using Xdebug.
Tagging comments?
Hello!
I'm curious - is there a good (and ideally easy) way to incorporate tagging of comments?
I'm thinking D6 here. Is node comment a good way to go? the only way to go?
Has anyone been down a similar road before? Any pitfalls?
Looking forward to any tips you might have!
Thanks!

- What CiviCRM is and why you might want to use it.
- How to install CiviCRM on a stock Drupal 6 site.
drupal developer | Cha Cha Tea
I'm considering using drupal to create my online store. I need help setting it up, and maybe a tutorial on content management. I'll need the ability to add and remove products quickly and change prices too.
